1) The reason why I signed up for a roots music FYS section is because I really like music and I wanted to learn more about different types of music and how music started to happen and how it progressed.
2) I would definetly take something from Hawk Nelson, Clark Gable and Such Great Heights by The Postal Service, Sugar We're Going Down by Fall Out Boy, and The Calendar Hung Itself by Bright Eyes. The reaso why I would take The Calendar Hung Itself by Bright Eyes because that is mine and my boyfriends song. It's not a typical song that a couple would have but we both like it and I think about him everytime I hear it. I just really like Clark Gable and Such Great Heights by The Postal Service so that is why I would bring them. Sugar We're Going Down by Fall Out Boy is always able to get me energetic and I always sing along, that song just makes me happy and it's good to be happy. I haven't decided what song to bring from Hawk Nelson because I like a lot of them. Hawk Nelson is a christian band (that's why a lot of you don't know who they are) and yeah. I just really like them too.
3) I can't really think of anything, there is always Over the River and Through the Woods because my Grandmother lives three and a half hours away.
4) I seriously have no idea for a replacement for the national anthem.
5) I sing in choir and I own a guitar and I;'m supposed to be learning how to play it but I haven't had the time yet. I played the clarinet in sixth grade but then quit.
6) I want to know what Governor Blanco's speech would have been about last year. She was going to give a speech last year but couldn't because of Katrina, and this speech was about her life and Katrina. So what was she planning on talking about last year?
